Windows CE Active Sync screen shots

The Mobile Devices application is the program that allows Windows CE to synchronize with your desktop computer. When double clicked, you will see the screen to the left.

This window is the main window of Mobile Devices, displaying the list of the various profiles on this computer. In the example to the left we have one profile that is Home, as other mobile devices synchronize with this computer additional profiles will be created. If the profile is Grey, this would be an indication that the mobile device is currently synchronized with the computer or not connected.

If your HPC device does not synchronize automatically you can choose Tools / Synchronize Now, and this will synchronize your HPC with your computer, if setup correctly.

Under Tools / ActiveSync Status you will find the window to the left. This window is usually only used during the time large files are copied from the mobile pro to the desktop. However, if you have small amounts of data to synchronize this window would not be used.
Under Tools / ActiveSync Options as shown in the window to the left you will be able to designate what services you wish to synchronize when synchronizing your HPC device. By default, Microsoft Exchanges message option will not be checked. If you wish for your mail to be synchronized with the HPC device, ensure that this option is checked.
