Question

Someone did some forms and logo using coreldraw which I do not have. I can not open the disk but really need all the info from this disk. This person no longer lives near me. What would be my options for opening this disk w/out purchasing this program?

Answer

This really all depends on the extension of the files. See below link for additional information about file extensions.

The image (logo) should be able to be opened in any major image editor. However, if this is an obscure image format it may require a high quality image program such as Adobe Photoshop. However you may want to first try a free image editor such as Picasa found on the below link.

Unfortunately once again I would need to know the file extension of the forms that were created in order to tell you if they could be opened in a different program. Because they are forms for them to properly be opened and viewed it's likely that you are going to need to open them in Corel.

One final suggestion is to visit a local copier store such as Fed-ex, Kinko's, etc. Often these locations will have Corel and other major programs and be able to open your files for you and potentially convert them to something you can use.
