Question

i want to use window xp profesionnal but some program can
run only MS-DOS 6.2 how can i install it on window xp.
can you tell me how to setup DOS 6.2 on window xp.
i'm looking forward to hear from you

Answer

You cannot install a previous version of MS-DOS on Windows XP. Unless you wanted to create a duel boot. If you have not tried running these programs in Windows XP we suggest you try installing the programs under Windows. Often many older MS-DOS programs will work under Windows XP.

If you need a MS-DOS prompt under Windows XP to install the programs you can click start / Run / and type 'command' and press enter.

Finally, if this is or is not a game you're trying to run you may also want to review the below document, which has information about getting older MS-DOS games to work under Windows. Although all of these suggestions may not apply, you could try the DOSBox emulator suggestion mentioned on this page.
