Question

Hello,

My computer has run without any major problems for 2 years.

I use win98SE on AMD2000XP (?) processor.

I recently installed software for an Epson stylus colour 480 printer and now keep getting the message.

“A fatal exception 0E has occurred at 0028:C027FA53 in VXD VMM (06) 00003A53, current application will be terminated.”

This can occur at any time and during any application e.g. dvd /cd burning, copying/printing and during computer startup. I have tried uninstalling/re-installing, and have now uninstalled the Epson printer software but the problem persists.

I do have an HP670c printer installed on the system and a umax scanner. These did work with no problems except that the HP printer is nowhere near as good as the Epson for print quality which is why I want to change.

Any help would be appreciated.
