CHID: 5421Question
When we tried to click on defrag computer, the computer showed and icon that said we don't have administrative ability to do this task...Please help
Answer
Make sure you're logged into an account that has administrator privileges otherwise you will not have access to disk utilities such as defrag and scandisk. Additionally you can try booting the computer into safe mode and run defrag. Additional information about booting into safe mode can be found on the below page.

Note: You will also need to be logged in as an administrator or an account with Administrator rights in Safe Mode.
If you're unfamiliar with the admin or administrator term you can also see our below dictionary definition of this term.
