Question

I have built two computers to the above specification the older one runs a Hp 3400C scanner with no problem whilst the other will not recognise the same scanner. I have service Pk2 installed on both but the drivers on the first were put in prior to the Pk. being installed. Any ideas on how it get round the problem would be gratefuly recieved.

It's very strange that two computers configured the same would have an issue like this. However, to resolve this issue we suggest you get the latest scanner drivers from Hewlett Packard. Many times after upgrading to a newer service pack will also require you to update the drivers for many of your hardware devices.
