I would like to make a disconnect from the dial up connection at any given time, perhaps, through task manager or something running an executable file.

Answer

We are not familiar with any type of software program or script that would enable you to automatically disconnect your modem. However, at any time you can manually disconnect the modem by right clicking on the modem icon in the Systray (bottom right corner) and clicking the disconnect.
