Question

We run a not for profit charity and had some refurbished dells donated to us. Question is how to we load a operating system on it. Acording to the paper work it is capable of runing XP. Do you just insert XP CD or do we need some other kind of boot up disk. It came with neither but we will probably go buy XP with license to run on all office machines. Thanks for your help.

Answer

According to Microsoft's license agreement you will either need a copy or a multi-user license version of Windows for each of the computer. However, as long as the computers are capable of running Windows XP these computers should have no issues just running the Windows XP CD on each of them.
