CHID: 5878

Question

I attempted to install an old Dos game called Stonekeep onto my computer and when i go to boot the game up it tell me that i am 'OUT OF MEMORY allocating: Cache memory' then it gives me a number of bytes. i know that i have more then enough memory for this game. i have also installed other dos games but this one is giving me problems

Answer

This type of issue is often caused because the program is a older MS-DOS program not compatible with Windows XP. We suggest you go through the below link which gives suggestions on getting older MS-DOS games to work with newer versions of Windows.
