In 1998, Chips and Technologies (C&T) was purchased by Intel. Asiliant Technologies was later founded in January 2000 by former members of the Chips and Technologies group. The new company continued the support of the CHIPS 65545, 65550, 65555, 69000, 69030, and others. Asiliant Technologies manufactured and sold Chips and Technologies discrete computer components for the next few years until closing.
