Founded in 1992, GECAD Software developed CAD software and later changed to developing security software, like antivirus software. Their most notable software development was or RAV (Reliable Antivirus). First developed in 1994, RAV was sold to Microsoft in 2003.
In 2004, GECAD Software changed its business structure and focus, including a name change to GECAD Group. Today, the GECAD Group invests in companies with high growth potential, mostly companies in the IT and software industry.
