If you believe you can help you're more than welcome to help offer your suggestion on the forum. The only time someone may ask you to not help is in the virus section since in some situations if done improperly can cause more harm than good.

harry, are you a member of any online do-it-yourself forums?  With your experience, as reflected in your blog, I'm sure you could be quite helpful in answering some questions from homeowners delving into do-it-yourself projects.  Here's one I've used for help on a few projects: http://forum.doityourself.com/

Harry,

While I was waiting for my computer to come out of the malware assistance forum, I spent a lot of time just helping general questions in the Windows forums. You could do that too. Sometimes it's slow there, but there's plenty of other sections on Computer Hope that you could help in too.

Don't feel unneeded. I really appreciated you when I was stuck in malware help!

Hi Harry,

The site is clean at Site Advisor. Maybe you got the virus elsewhere?

WOT gives it a good rating, and ESET gives me no warnings.

Harry, I went to it too and didn't have any problems.  It's a good site by the way.
