Looking for Recommedations for a New Computer Supplier..?

I don't really have any recommendations except that I have a Dell right now and it works good.  But I would be really interested in what you expert computer gurus can suggest here.  I know he didn't list 1)useage 2) budget 3)geographical but would you point us in a direction.  For instance, if for general use/business use, on a budget of under $1000 if possible, and not sure about what the moderator meant for geographical???  Could you also recommend budget friendly for a teen that does WOW and needs graphics and processing speed?
