Snippage

This Adobe AIR app sounded promising and thought it was going to be a good tip to add to Computer Hope but unfortunately didn't live up to its promises. The app claimed to be able to create widgets for any section of a web page, so I tried creating a widget of the bottom of the main computer hope forums that showed the Computer Hope forum and chat status.

Was able to create the widget easily and left it running on one of my screens but it never seemed to update after letting it sit for over an hour. It also doesn't have an option to manually refresh the page, also would be a lot more useful if it had an option to always remain the top window.
