IRC Ban?

I was banned from the IRC Chat and I don't know why...

Can somebody unban me or tell me why I was banned?

I was downloading the trend housecall program they asked me to get and I clicked over to the chat and it said i was kicked so I try to reconnect and it says im banned

Why should I have to wait... I didn't do anything to get banned I went there for help which I need and in the middle of it they ban me

I was getting help with a virus, I gave them my hijack this log and i was downloading housecall trend thing and i clicked back from the other tab and it says i was kicked so i tried reconnecting and it said i was banned

ok, but does anyone know why i got banned?

I've gone to the chat for virus help a lot, and gotten maybe 4 viruses removed using their help and never once has this happen

when i scrolled up i saw something about me editing my hijack this logs from the guy that banned me... could that be it?

Chat rules: English only, no profanity, no discrimination, no discussions on politics/religion, no spam or flooding the channel, no advertisement or other website URLs unless addressing another users question, and no assistance with hacking, cracking, creating viruses, illegal torrents, bypassing copyright laws (including hacked OS's).

I always find it interesting when people post here saying "OMG some douche on chat banned me reinstate me pleez because I'm innocent".

They don't ban people for no reason. as I noted a LOT of people (well, not a huge number but it happens rather often) start a topic here complaining about being banned, and how innocent they are, they even provide chat logs, and it looks like they might not have done something wrong after all.

But they "conveniently" forget to mention things like calling people names/swearing at them and a lot of other stuff. somehow I don't think they "forget" or that those messages just "vanish" from the posted log.

I also find it interesting how you insist so quickly that this horrible "mistake" be corrected, completely forgetting that the very same support you sought on the chat is also available on the forum and at the very least can tide you over for the 14 days. They don't make a habit of reversing bans, and too many people play the "OMG this is ridiculous I didn't do anything" card that are revealed to have done something and known full well what it was the entire time to evoke my sympathies.

I use the chat because it provides a quick instant reply which is what i needed.

The admins said to report it and they will look into it. which is what im doing
