MS word forms submission

I created a form with Microsoft Word.  Now, I want to make a submit button/text, that would send the completed form via email to the correct employee.  I need to use Microsoft Outlook as the email program.  A co-worker suggested using Macros in order to create the proper field for submission.  I am not very familiar with using Macros, and am looking for another way to accomplish the task.  Is there any other way, or is there a good site that can help to show the way with Macros?
