"Help Plz"

Here are the specs:
- generic DVD ROM SCSI CdRom Device
- SONY DVD+- RW DW-D56A

Under my computer neither D: or E: are showing up. Moreover, under device manager there are exclamation marks next to each of the above.

Exclamation Mark - When a device has a yellow explanation mark this is an indication that the device is conflicting with another hardware device.

I downloaded the newest drivers and tried installing them ..but error message says that it could not recognize that driver.

Pleas help..it is crucial that my Cd drivers work.
