Asking just because I'm curious...I have a top of the line(ish) dell  (i7, 8gig ram, etc). Is it possible for 95 to run on that? Or would it be too powerful for the OS, etc?

Too much RAM to run Win95 natively.  It will run using Microsoft Virtual PC:  http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/
