Allo...

Ghost image backup can not open: i tried opening ghost backed up files with ghost explorer but it cannot open the files  i have attached a doc of the errors i have print screened.

i need to restore the data back to the PRIMARY HDD

thank you.

That message means nothing...
What version of Ghost ? ?
Was the image built on the same or older version ? ?
Have you created a bootable ghost CD and tried that ? ?
Is the image a valid Ghost file ? ?

Ghost Version: 8 for 32 bit
the image was built on the same version coz i tried to access it minutes after backing up with the same ghost software.
yes it is, and i used BART PE for the ghost back up, i havent tried the bootable ghost disk.

I've used Ghost since 1995.

You MUST do a CRC check on EVERY image you make whether to

HDD or to CD/DVD.

If it fails, re-image and check IT.

Ghost will NOT allow a bad image to be restored, so it's useless.
