My friend just bought a new mac desktop computer. She managed to install windows live messenger for a mac. It all works but the call computer feature. If someone calls her computer, she cannot answer the call, nor can she call another computer. How can this be remedied if anyone knows anything about a Mac which I do not...

This cannot be remedied, your running windows software on a mac... there isn't a mac version of this software so im amazed that it even partly worked. Get her to use one of the online sites like http://www.ebuddy.com

Hello

I'll have to rectify the last users comment regarding Windows live messenger.  there is a mac version but it is called "Microsoft  messenger for mac", available from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Messenger_for_Mac

The newest version now supports audio and video chat via the macbook inbuilt camera.
