What operating system are you using? How do you connect to the internet? What browser are you using? Do you have a firewall installed?

Have you blocked Windows Media Player with your firewall? Are you using the Windows XP firewall? Yes i have fire wall installed but i think it was uninstalled when someone was trying to help me out, and still it did not work. I would not quite call taking down someone's security helping

I would not quite call taking down someone's security helping Neither would I. Perhaps checking to see if cookies, etc. are disabled would be a good idea... See if the browser is a trusted program... Or the media player... [glb]Flame[/glb]

How do which firewall im using. What do you suggest i do? First determine if you have a firewall installed. Then determine if this firewall is preventing Windows Media Player from accessing the Internet.

I have a problem too with my windows media player 9. After installing a bluetooth device, WMP could not connect to the internet. It was working well before that. I turned off all firewalls or as much as I am aware of, Norton Internet Security Firewall and the one on the network connection, but still it cannot connect to the internet. Could there be more firewalls blocking it or did the bluetooth installation altered something? Please help.... I cant even find a way to uninstall WMP. Its not in the Kontrolpanel Add/Remove Programs list... I am using Win Xp connected by DSL... Help me anyone :-[
