Same here.
I see nothing whatsoever on that page pertaining to facebook or twitter.  And, why would you even mention that page?  It's not a page you would normally go to; it's a HELP page, which you said nothing about until your last post.  Your posts preceding the last one seemed to imply you were talking about the Yahoo home page and/or your page for accessing your email via web browser.

When ever I log on to My.Yahoo page on my laptop, I get a message @ the bottom of the page to add new aps to my home page. On my desk top we never get that. on the laptop also if I click to keep logged in it takes me back to the last web-site I visited. If I log out and need to log in again I get the message about new features for my home page....last night on my desk top the bookmarks on the home page will no longer load. I needed to download the new tool bar. The last time Firefox upgraded it said the Yahoo tool bar was not compatible with the upgraded version of FF7 so I removed it from both computers now I am getting messages saying it is recommended to download the new tool bar so we can get our bookmarks. I guess I will end up going back to MSN which I do not want to do. Does anyone know if Netscape is still available and or is it compatible with fire fox without having to get the Apple Software add-on?

I have run my anti-virus software and Mal-ware detection .....I use Panda Global and have never had a problem I ran a system scan on the desk Top and I just did the Lap Top before I logged on today. Any ideas. I have had Norton and McAfee but I seem to have better luck with Panda.

I don't even want to fathom the confusion of ideas that could lead to this question.

I just checked FF for upgrades.   The ABP (little red Stop-sign bottom right hand corner status bar) had an upgrade available, which I for some reason didn't get notification about and it didn't download automatically, I just downloaded the software upgrade. I will try and log out and then log back in....maybe that will do away with the advertisement or application things but now if that gets cleared up then what to do about the book marks maybe just import all of them into the unclassified bookmarks  on the Fire Fox Tool Bar Menu.

I think there has been something wrong with this thread from the first post.  I think somebody is just playing games.  If the original question is how to change home pages, that's one of the first things most browser users learn how to do.

I've also had a suspicion along that line for awhile in this discussion.

You both can think what you like...I know what my computer is doing after Ad Block Plus upgraded part of the problem with the advertisement across the bottom of the screen is now gone. On my lap top the bookmarks are back in alphabetical order on the desk top Nada, But I just downloaded the Ad Block Plus Software update to it so I will see what happens.

It doesn't matter.

Perhaps posting a screenshot or image would verify what are these ads or pop ups.

Yes, but it also has been happening when I sign into http://my.yahoo.com

Since Ad Block Plus upgrade the software all of these pop up ads went away. Also now on the lap top the book marks on the left side of the front page of my Yahoo if you push refresh they go back into alphabetical order.

This link is also blocked now  ||l.yimg.com/a/i/us/my/mw/th/sky/*

So if you guys think I'm trying to run a scam so be it. I asked a legitimate question I may have come off on the wrong side but when you are poed by something so be it. I guess I will just try to fix it myself. Sorry I even bothered to ask....I guess the sanctimonious  have won out. I will just eat a pound of kosher salt and consider the source.

On my Lap top I used my recovery disk and start from scratch.

Okay.....
For those of you that think I was trying to run a scam. I uninstalled everything right down to my os.....I reinstalled everything. I solved my own problem with no thanks to the ones in the click !

The web page now works fine. Nada problems. I ran a Spyware/Malware scan......with Panda Global Protection. I came up with firewall conflicts Windows trying to run with Panda Firewall installed.
