i need to reinstall everio mediabrowser hd edition that supports JVC camcorder G

I need to reinstall everio mediabrowser hd edition that originally came with my JVC camcorder GZHM 330

None of the links on the jvc websites are letting me download the mediabrowser. Even if it did download, there are so many different versions of everio mediabrowser that I'm confused which one to try .

Plus a lot of sites that are offering the download are asking for payment after a free scan etc. They then ask you to register. Which I'm finding out really means a payment.

I know the everio mediabrowser was a free install, but a store technician loaded it onto my laptop when I bought the camcorder.

How do I reinstall the mediabrowser. It become uninstalled unintentionally when I uninstalled heaps of programs to speed up my laptop.

Its an OEM product that should have shipped with your camcorder... I wouldn't be surprised if the official developer site (http://www.pixela.co.jp/) wants to charge you to download it separately.

I'm sorry I can't help you as you'll have to download it again... and the latest version costs money. Perhaps you might want to go back to the store technician-he should have given you a copy of the software to keep.

Its probably the ads on the site triggering Trend Micro Security's virus detection.

But,.,that link http://www.pixela.co.jp/oem/jvc/mediabrowser/e/mediabrowser_sd/data/EMB_100015Update.EXE comes back as not viable. Not enough data.

What a mega dogs breakfast this whole thing is.

I  rang JVC support last Friday but got only a message service to say they are unavailable. Days later haven't even emailed back to me or phoned.

And  Harvey Norman where I bought the camera have just told me to ring JVC.

Do you have any problem data transferring or opening files from your JVC camcorder to your computer? I actually have this Everio media browser installed on one of my PC but have not actually use the software. It can still be used and recognize as a USB media storage device when plugged in. Unless I am missing something from that software installer.
