Someone told you to use the server for DHCP ... Did you add DHCP as a role of the server? If not ... there's your problem!!

@ Raptor, why not guide him through doing all that using the windows options? Regedit is hard to use todo that kind of thing initially...

Because what I could make up from the somewhat vague posts was that it kept disappearing from the menu.

And if that is the case, it needs to be done through regedit.

But hey, he's all yours now.

We were able too figure it out, thank fully.    Its a Link Sys BEFSR41, thing is that the lease time is for only 5 minutes.  So some how I need to change it for longer.
