Hello!! Can someone explain how this feature works?? I have been reading the threads in malware fighters. Trying to learn new things to keep this old mind active. I see them hi-lite a word like (here) and then they insert a link. Now when you click on here , it takes you to a link. I have done that on other forums, but I can't get it to work here. Is this a administrator privilege or can anyone use this feature?? Thank you!! garybear!!

Suppose I want to make a link to my site at geek9pm.com I could just write www.geek9pm.com and the auto link feature would make it a link. But what if I want to fool everybody and say: Hey! look at this Great Blog! The actual code is: Great Blog!
Does that help any? (Now I will get a slap for revealing our secrets.)

Hi I'm sorry !! I'm messing this topic up, but I can't make hyperlink work. On other forums I would copy the link, click on insert hyperlink after I hi lite the word (here). It would change the here to the link. PS If your going to get in trouble please just forget this! It's not a big deal. I can copy and paste a link. Thanks !

Gary if you look at the code in post #7 it shows exactly how to do it.
After you push the 'Insert Hyperlink' button put a = sign at the end of the 1st url then paste your link. Then click between the 2 centre brackets and type your desired text.

On another forms; I high lite the word I want to insert the link in, click on hyperlink, a box drops down, I paste my link, and now when you click the high lighted word you are taken to that web page. I realize it is different here and I'm trying very hardto learn how to do it here! Thank you!! garybear!!
