    Link Sys BEFSR41 Lease Time

    Appearntly, the lease time for my router is only five minutes.  I need to change this for my server but, I dont know how to do it.

    Linksys BEFSR41 Manual.
    If you are running a server I would suggest using a static local IP for your server so you can port forward to it easily.

      It all ready has a static ip.  I also, all ready shifted through the manual an the average person wouldnt be doing somethin like this

        I noticed in your router settings there is an option to disable the DHCP server. Perhaps that may work...

          I disabled DHCP,  still the lease seems to last for five minutes.  Not sure if this is the source of the issue or not though
