Reboot has me hit the F1 key. Why is this?
    « on: April 14, 2012, 05:10:04 PM »
I have read somewhere that this means I need to fix one of my drivers but maybe that is incorrect.  Is there a fix to this?
    I have a Dell Inspirion 530S
Windows Vista Home Premium w/ service pack 2
    Processor: Genuine Intel 2160 @ 1.80GHz
    Ram: 2 GB
    32 bit OS

    Linux711

Sometimes this occurs when your CMOS battery is dead and the system can't save its settings. It usually says something other than just press F1.

No, it is not related to drivers. Drivers are loaded by the OS (windows in this case) and what you are talking about is part of the BIOS.

Can it be fixed?  I would like to have it not show up everytime I re-boot.
