Comp keeps freezeing? lost recovery cd

laptop keeps crashing every 30 mins or so it freezes for 1-3 mins disconnects me from games etc was going to format but iv lost my cd to use recovery is there another way? im on windows 7 , laptop is a fujitsu lifebook n series nh 570 if you can help me sort this screen freezeing issue i have $10 in LR ill happily donate to yourself.

It may be that the fan of the laptop is stuck. If so, doing a fresh install of Windows 7 will NOT fix the fan. When the laptop gets hot, it shuts down.
