Need help

I have a defalut homepage that i can't change...the default page that comes up takes me to long list of directories...and now i get all these spyware pop-ups.

I tried spybot but, it didn't do anything.

When i go to privacy report to change my default it won't let me.  I have to type in the Yahoo.com address(my normal default) to get there.  any suggestions?

Tom...it sounds to me like you have the dreaded Hijacker in your pc.........If thats what you have ....spybot won't fix it ....you will need to d/l hijackthis ...have it generate a log file and then check each log entry ......and when you have reviewed and marked the bad ones run the fix ........and if you have done your homewprk properly the hijacker should be gone .....but go back and read the sticky on the hijacker.   http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000578.htm
