Good morning jesse candia and welcome back

#1... is this PC the same one that you have in another post that can not get online with (a box says to open with)

#2... If this PC is different and the computer will not go into windows normally and when "launch start up repair" so if neither one works do you have the Windows 7 disc (possibly came with PC)
#2a.. Make sure you don't have any thing plugged into the PC (like a external hard drive, USB thumb drive, media cards from camera's etc)

#3... Chances being when you bought your pc it DID not come with recovery media if it didn't did you make the restore disc's.

#4... Here is link to "Dell's web site for your model" http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/kcs/document?&docid=DSN_353562&isLegacy=true PLEASE remember when you do the steps on Dell's site this will restore the PC back to the state like hen the PC was brand new. A lot of the newer inspirons do have a tool called "data safe local back up" to save your files just in-case you don't have any good back up's.

#5... If you re-start your PC and keep tapping the "F8" key   and try "start up repair" that can fix the the issue of why the PC will not start and here is what the "advanced options" look like

Please let us know how you make out and if we can be any more help, Mike
Statement of the day.  The IT person asked. What kind of computer do you have and the customer replied a white one why?
