    Browser's won't load pages
    « on: May 24, 2015, 02:59:40 PM »
    Hi,

I'm having the issue that none of my browser's chrome, firefox, and explorer are loading any pages. The exception is when I first start up my computer after shut down and for about the first minute pages will load. This has happened a few times before but after a couple of days everything is fine again. This time however it has not solved itself.

    Any help would be great!

Hello... is this over wireless or hard wired with cat5 cable? When this happens can you ping www.google.com with successful pings? Any other devices use this internet connection to prove that the problem is only with this computer and not the actual internet connection?

What protection apps do you have...and when's the last time you updated them and ran scans ?

Norton Antivirus, updated and scanned 2/3 days ago, shortly after the problem started. It can still connect to the internet.

As a troubleshooting step, try connecting the computer to your modem/router by cable and see whether you get an Internet connection.

Tried it with the wired connection and the same issue is there. It's connected but none of the browsers will load any pages.

Pages are not loading at all or they are showing any mistake?

Pages are not loading, the pages attempt to connect but after several minutes the browser gives up.
