    Cursor and Screen
    « on: June 24, 2016, 04:40:25 PM »
Hi, all. I am getting really annoyed with the fact that my laptop (Acer Aspire E1-571) with the editions of Windows 10, specifically with the cursor that whenever I type, it goes back to the start of the sentence. Also, whenever I scroll down, it goes back up automatically to the first page or the very top of the page. It is not just my web but also with my start up page that when I try to click on the last app, the blue highlighted thing highlights the first app. Please help me!

Home key could be stuck or keyboard damaged.

A bit dumb to ask but how do I know if I install all my laptop drivers for Windows 10? I checked my device manager and all of my drivers are up-to-date.

I don't think so because I can use my home key perfectly fine and my keyboard is fine but its just my pointer/text cursor keeps jumping to the beginning of my sentences whenever I type. I don't know what is the problem in my laptop  ???

It is doing the actions of the home key when that key is not being pressed. If it does not do it when you use an external USB keyboard plugged in, then I would suspect the keyboard of the laptop.

I'll try and check it with an external keyboard  :-\

Whenever you change drives...or re-install Windows all drivers need to be re-installed...
Right now it sounds as you are running on the generic Windows drivers which can cause small issues like this.
Visit the Laptop manuf. site...enter your Model # and Win version...then DLoad and install them.

Chipset drivers 1st...then re-boot...then all others.
Hopefully this gets you back up to speed...
