I am using a Toshiba laptop. with windows 10

I recently might of down loaded a program with malware or my problem could of been from update since I always had problems with

windows 10 updates in the past. Here the problem, when I turn my computer on, I get a bunch of error messages stating application

errors. When I  try to use chrome I get a chrome.exe application error. Which says the application was unable to start correctly. I did a

virus scan and removed one threat. and did a system clean and removed all unnecessary files. For some reason internet explorer is still working. http://www.computerhope.com/forum/Smileys/classic/huh.gif

It sure does seem like an infection since I can not open certain software. Can someone move post or should I start a new post??

Following this thread as my system also got infected and I had been getting similar error messages. At the time, I had no clue and had to re-install the Windows as the malware had infected the whole system, leading to the blue screen of death.
