This may be premature.
Microsoft bringing new 'Game Mode' to Windows 10 for an enhanced PC gaming experience

This new feature was first spotted by WalkingCat in the recently leaked build 14997, and although it isn't working yet, we understand it's a feature that will be showing up for Insiders very soon, as it's something that's set to arrive with the Creators Update.
Wait and see.  :)

It is a bit frustrating to see new features like this being added when their existing featureset contains copious shortcomings, especially in the area of UI, such as the VPN/networks foldout. I've stopped looking forward to that being fixed since it was reported in the earliest insider builds as being absolutely god-awful, meanwhile they've continued to add added gilded lily nonsense. Game Mode?  Blue Light reduction? The ability to interact with the setup program via voice commands? This all sounds like stuff nobody wants, to be honest.
I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.
