    No display on monitor
    « on: February 08, 2017, 10:59:44 AM »
Im having some issues with my desktop rig, It was displaying some pixel errors on a fairly new monitor, upon restarting my pc, there was no picture at all. I switched my HDD to an SSD and it booted to windows, but still some pixel errors, i switch GPU and no picture at all. when i tried the original GPU with the HDD, the monitor read that i couldnt find a HDD

Tried my GPU in his pc and it looks like it is a goner, i plugged in my HDD into his rig and it seems to be working fine, none of my videos are corrupt and  all my files are where they should be. When i plug the HDD back into my rig and run off the integrated graphics my system cannot seem to find the HDD, but can detect the SSD. I have tried different SATA ports on the motherboard and that doesnt seems to help. i have yet to see if it can recognise both HDD and SSD but i figured it would do the samething, thoughts? @sage

I'll assume the SSd is the boot drive....
Connect it only to SATA MBoard port 0 or 1...do a few cold boots in a row and check it's working...
Then power down and hook up the 2nd drive to SATA 2 or higher...
          Should work fine then.
