Can you give me any other info on tweaking Spybot more for better protection?

I still am looking at a firewall also for this computer.

Zone Alarm?

Is this Spyware Blaster (Java Cool) worth a hoot?

I have had great success with Zone Alarm on Window's ME upgraded to XP Pro. Works like a charm and does a great job.

However, I have a new computer with XP Pro and downloaded the Zone Alarm program and something keeps going wrong. I bought Registry Mechanic, it fixed it several times, but keeps coming back. The problem is Zone Alarm won't load and my screen saver is jerky . I tried to uninstall Zone Alarm and it won't work. I'm at a loss because Zone Alarm works so well on the older computer.

Good Luck

Try re-installing ZA with the Windows firewall and your anti-virus program dis-abled.
Your machine should be disconnected from the web until everything is back in place and activated.
