When I try to turn on my computer, Windows attempts to boot, but is then interrupted by a blue screen with a stop error that says "STOP: 0x0000007B  (0x81868a10, 0xC0000006, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE".   Then it says to check for viruses, but I can't because it won't boot up.    I've tried using F8 start up screen, but I tried a few things nothing will work.  It keeps going back to the blue screen. Then I tried looking at a Windows help page that didn't help, but it did say that if someone tried to help me these numbers might be helpful :"0x4, 0, 0, 0".  Can anyone help?

Do you have access to a CD burner and Nero and a computer that you can temporarily install a few small applications on?

Chicks:

Here is what Microsoft suggests:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;324103

If it looks too complicated, ask one of us to help, or take it to a computer repair shop.

Best regards,

Also if you are running XP or 2000, you can run the Repair from the install disk and that should correct some of those errors.  Here is a link on running the repair function if you don't know how: http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm
