I deleted my HIMEM.SYS (Windows 98) file by mistake (don't ask how!) & I REALLY REALLY need to retreive it!  I have searched forums & I tried to make a boot disc, but when I tried to copy the HIMEM file it could not be found.
I am a computer idiot & I need some serious help PLEASE!  My marriage depends it (not really).  Thanks in advance for your time & help.

If your marriage depends on a computer's functioning you have done something seriously wrong.

This article may be of use, I have very little experience with Windows 98:

Himem.sys missing or corrupt

Thank you for your quick response Raptor!  I tried that link, but when I tried to copy the himem.sys c:\dos, the himem.sys, & the himem.sys c:\windows files, it said:
File not found - himem...etc.
0 file(s) copied
I know it has been deleted but I don't know how else to retreive it. Any ideas??
Thanks!
