Exploring the use of Linux. Can I use Linux as a server for dos / windows based programs.  Is there a way to run dos programs under linux like under windows.  Any Ideas as to which linux products to use in a server, client relationship.

I'd give SuSE a try; it works great for me. I believe there is a simple DOS emulator, and you can use Samba to talk with your Windows peers/clients/servers. I may be setting up a Linux help site, with a few little tutorials about how I did things.
