hey !!!

     I am new in this forum i hope i am in right place.....

     plz tell me how copy a programme from the computer which has only DOS  i want to copy programme from that computer to another...  it only runs in dos ...

How big is the program?  Often DOS programs are fully contained in a single directory.  The first thing I would try is copy the directory from the source computer to a floppy disk, then copy the contents of the floppy disk to the target computer in a directory named the same as on the source computer.

Then try it out and see if you get any error messages.

How big the files are, or at least the biggest one, and what you have to copy with are the deciding factors. What program is it?

Please post as much information about your computer, operating system, and problem as possible, what happened prior to problems, etc. Too much info is OK, too little is pointless! Don't just say "My computer doesn't work. What's wrong?"

hey!!!

the programme i want to copy is too big i copied it to the floopy but the sapce was not enough. The programme is used in my cousins shop to rent the films. I have also pulled the hard disk from this computer and attached with the other computer as a "slave"
but this hardisk never becomes "slave" ........  

                      is there any way to connect my usb and copy the programme in it cause i have tried but dos does not detect usb

You need to re-set the jumper on that new machine's HDD to "master w/slave" before the BIOS will recognise the slave drive...

hey !!!

     I had tried the jumper settings before but even then the hdd never becomes slave i dont now what is happening is there any way to copy the programme into the usb....
