Your problem is that your 'main' computer has an address (amongst other things) of 192.168.1.1 and the others have an address of 192.168.2.2.  Is that one set to a static IP in the LAN settings?

I've had enough of this machine; so I went out and spent $15 and bought a new lan card, its working like a charm.

Thanks to all that tried to help me

I suspect that the new card defaulted to using DHCP...

Please post as much information about your computer, operating system, and problem as possible, what happened prior to problems, etc. Too much info is OK, too little is pointless! Don't just say "My computer doesn't work. What's wrong?"

Glad it's fixed then.  :)

My twins are 26 months, although they'd be 23 months if they'd've gone full term...

looks like I have same problem as fella in this trail, have done most of same things. Suspect either a virus interfered or I deleted something.

Shows gibberish as an IP address.

At start up, missing two files
ylcysddd.dll
mjrvfyta.dll

Can you help?
I would rather figure out than buying a card!

These two files are not "original" windows files.
You have to use an antivirus and other programs to search for viruses and other garbage on your computer. It seems your Windows computer is compromised...
