Very Strange (WIN98 PROB)

Hi there,

You know when your in My Documents or any folder and you right click you get that little menu, around the bottom of the menu it says New and when you put your mouse on it another menu pops out saying Folder, Shortcut and anything else.

Well for some strange reason my New option has dissapeard from the list and now I cant make a new folder anymore.

Things I was doing prior to problem:

I was trying to install WINXP Pro over my WIN98 but it wouldnt let me continue because of hardware problems.

I installed the latest DirectX ver (9.0c)

Here are my specs
Processor: AMD K6-2 500mhz
Motherboard:ASUS P1/P55T2P4
Video Card: Geforce 2 mx 100/200 64mb
Sound Card: Dolphin 2ch card
OS:WIN98       First 1998 Release

When I was trying to install XP it said my video card wasnt compatible with my Motherboard and it had to exit setup.

Oh wait, doesnt matter I fixed it
I just opened regedit and went to
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT>Directory>Background>shellex>ContextMenuHandlers>New

And where it says Default in the "" it was blank, I just double clicked the empty brackets and entered
{D969A300-E7FF-11d0-A93B-00A0C90F2719}

Now its back
