Is there a way to separate the child boards and stickys from the actual posts?
I found it a bit difficult to find posts in the FAQ section (That, and you cant see who the post was made by...)

Yeah I'll see if anything can be done the next time I modify the FAQ section theme.

Even a different icon would be good. Something for subdirectories wouldn't be bad, either. :)

P.S. Nathan thanx for reordering the Software sub-Forum...much better.
You're welcome. Just happened to notice it wasn't right the other night.

I'm so glad you fixed that.  It's been bothering me, but I didn't want to say anything.  Ha.  Is there any way to alternate the quotebox colors?  Like, have the main quote be one color and have the sub-quotes be a different color?  It's not a big issue, but I think it would make the quotes easier to read.  I just got back from the San Francisco area earlier today and I'm very tired, so I apologize if I'm not making much sense.

I'll add it to a list, however, I'm imagining something like that could be pretty difficult. But that's just an assumption.

Yeah, understandable.  Feel free to keep that one on the backburner, as it's really not all that important.  Just me being nitpicky.  Heh.

The last six posts of Dilbert's MS-DOS Tutorial seem to be hidden.  You can still read them if you go to the printable version.

Yeah this is the fault of the wiki template again. It will only display one page of posts so if there are more than one page of posts those posts cannot be viewed. Something that still needs to be addressed. I'll try to get it done as soon as possible. Thanks for pointing out a post with this issue.

Here is another request:

Change the email sending settings in the SMF forum from the default Usr/sendmail to STMP.

Topic replys, moderator reports, etc, are sending a bit slowly, and it seems that whichever system you are using now, gets gunked up every so often.

Usrsendmail (I think thats what its called) is the normal default, and it works well, but its no ideal for the amount of emails processed through this forum.

I've changed from the default of the PHP mail system to SMTP. However, still testing to whether or not it works. During this time if it's not working notifications are not going to be sent.

I'm still scrolling left to right here Nathan, HJT logs seem to force the issue which then flows on to all the text in the thread.

1024 x 768, 19" monitor, IE set on largest text size.

My setup is what I'd consider to be very average so surely this is happening to many users?

Yeah a solution has been found, unfortunately it was in the forum of a mod, which I've had issues with. So still something trying to get resolved. Sorry for the hassle.

Yeah, I've got the same setup here (but with text set at Medium) and certain HJT logs will stretch the page for me.  It doesn't bother me, but until Fed said something, I hadn't thought of how bad it might be for anyone with a smaller monitor and/or lower resolution.
