After burning a dvd, data format, and reinserting the disc, I'm unable to read my burn dvd. Aparently, when I click on the dvd-rom icon, my windows explorer hangs. My dvd writer is 16X Sony DRU 710A. I tried it out on 3 different bands of dvd, TDK 8X , Sony 16X and Philips 8X. It all didn't work. I'm pretty pissed by the ridiculous idea of not being able to open the burn disc. I even tried burning it on 2 different softwares, nero and dvd decryter. SERIOUSLY need help!! >:( :( >:( :( >:( >:( :( >:( :(

This the error i got from burning through dvd decrypter.

Are you sure multi-session is turned off in the burner software ? ?

If it isn't the burn is not finalised and the DVD will show blank.

DLoad and install ISOBuster and report what it shows on those DVD's....

Did that drive EVER work correctly? If yes, than what has changed? If no, then get it replaced.

Please advise if all of this software is a complete legit copy on a shiny CD with the manufacturer's name on it or "versions".

Please post as much information about your computer, operating system, and problem as possible, what happened prior to problems, etc. Too much info is OK, too little is pointless! Don't just say "My computer doesn't work. What's wrong?"
