That's 'Bone', and the lettering is something called 'Silian Rail'.

If I'm not here, I'm probably out returning videotapes.

Yah it is pretty quick since the overclock and the extra 2 gigs of ram I have had it to 3.2ghz but the chipset starts to roast pretty bad.  I am sure i can get 3.5 on watercooling but I have done water in the past and its just not worth the maintenance in my opinion.

yeah i'm not too fond of liquid cooling... not many people are except serious gamers who can't afford to get a cpu which actually gives them the same output without overclocking... there's also the ''minor'' factor of leakages... my brother once had a pc, he also had liquid cooling, he also then had a leak in the cooling system.

notice the past tense

I had a minor leak once i noticed it before i powered the computer on in the morning.  It was a very tense two days that i waited to power it on but it was ok.  I was very lucky.  The reason i overclock is because i got the c2d for an intel retailers deal and i figure if it toast the processor i am not really out anything i paid 220$ for a pos intel mobo the proc and two copies of vista ultimate.  It is cool though that i have it going faster then any stock core 2 and last time i checked my overclock was the 3rd highest on the hardocp database @ 3.2 ghz the top two clocks are on the same board as me only they were running water.  I am on stock cooling except for a fan on the chipset.

It is fun to overclock I have had some pretty crazy ones in the past it is just something else to mess around with.  I am afraid to overclock my video card if it blows up I would cry Sad  my ram is locked to stock also.

I give a 7 due to the 12" screen lol! Otherwise a good laptop.

My stats are in signature and I'll post anything additional.

  • Screen: Dell LCD 17", running at 1280x1024, 60Hz.
  • Speakers: some Logitech 2.1 (not sure of model but I think 64W peak?) Huh
  • Keyboard: Logitech G11, the G15 without the LCD.
  • Mouse: again a Logitech G5 (2007 Edition). ie 2 side buttons and new paint job!
  • Floppy: funnily enough there isn't one.
  • Optical Drives: I have two. One a LG DVD+/- R/W Supermulti and the other just a reader.
  • OS: Vista Ultimate. Yay! *sarcasm*.
  • Little bit dusty atm needs it's first clean!

Also, looking at getting an XFX 8800GTS 320mB XXX Editon (OC'd) to replace, rate on that or as it is if you will.
