My Background is Gone!

I just got on my computer, I am running Windows Xp Pro, I had a picture of my grandmother for the background, but now its just a blue screen, i went into properties, went to desktop, looked at the background, and it said it was on, but on the preview it was just blue also, i want this fixed fast, but i dont know what happened, or how to fix it, so if someone could help me out, thanks.

Can you make sure active desktop is disabled? Please open the Control Panel, open display, click the desktop tab, click the "customize desktop" button, click the web tab, and make sure that nothing is checked in this window.

If active desktop was ok we recommend you got back to the desktop tab under the display properties window and try switching to an alternate desktop to see if it has the same issue. If it doesn’t, then try switching back to your grandmother background.
