question about Sanitarium

In chapter two, in order to electrocute "Mother", you need gas from the wrecked car to start the generator, but in my game, the gas can I'm supposed to have access to isn't there. Has anyone else ran across this problem? Will this problem be resolved with the patch?

I do not recall running across this issue when playing the game and unfortunately do not believe that the issue will be resolved by the patch. The patch is used to fix freezing up issues with crossing the stream.

It's likely the can is not showing up because something has not been done, may want to go around town and make sure everything is done. Try reviewing a walkthrough such as the below link to make sure everything was done.
