« on: September 30, 2007, 05:31:19 AM »

How is it possible to download a YouTube video or songs in my computer?
Can Real player do this? By what process? Which version of real player?

Thanks

There are various programs that can do this, but I can't really name any right now.

I know that the new Real Player 11 beta has an optional button that can appear to download music or videos. But I've never really used it, so I don't know how well it works.

Ok Thank you.

downloaded FLV player, and watch the video but the screen is very small.

Can I enlarge the screen, or can i change it (the .flv format) to mpg or wmv format so that I can watch it through windows media player?

Www.download.com  you should be able to find a converter there.....

Or if you download the trail Sony Vegas it should be able to save it as a different format

If you must watch it in WMP, you could try getting the right codecs to run it

K-Lite Codecs pack will allow your computer to play most movie and audio without having to get a special player (for example, DivX movies will be able to play in WMP or Quicktime without the DivX movie player)

Go ahead and get the full version

Even better:
www.media-convert.com
No software required, converts online for you on their own server, not your computer

You can actually get codecs that will allow you to play .flv files through Windows Media player.

http://www.cccp-project.net/

Or if you have the popular VLC media player it already supports it. Either of these programs would allow you to enlarge the flash file with some degradation.

Since this question seems to be a popular question or at least I seem to be encountering it more frequently I've also created a new Q&A on Computer Hope that gives each of the steps and includes many of the programs already mentioned on this thread.
