I was wondering the TYPE command
Reference : http://www.ss64.com/nt/type.html

well it seems that my computer doesnt have this Type.exe
anyone know where to get it.

i need it for my batch file

I didn't find      type.exe     when I text searched the link you provided above  either.    ;)
Maybe you are assuming it is an   .exe  file?

Open a command line window.
Enter           type/?         
What happens?


type is an internal command.

You won't find "type.exe" file.
"type.exe" is an internal command, that is stored in the system memory and loaded from the command.com

well ok so um... i got it alittle wrong
but i come up with a error:

" The Syntax of the command is incorrect "

and my batch file is...


"
@echo off
type c:/task.txt
pause

"

i dont see anything wrong with it
