Now I know this is an old issue-but mine is a new one. I have the patch for the hanging poblem, and up until recently I did not have this problem. Here goes: My ethernet adapter went out and so I purchased a new one (win98 compatible). After I installed the software---that's when I started having this problem again. I contacted the manufacturer and they suggested updating the bios driver, but I could not find an update. And the manufacturer of course had no other solution either. Anyone have any ideas what could remedy this problem?

Thanks a bunch... :-*

I see that a few people have read my post but I guess noone had any ideas-can anyone help me on this issue please?!
